International Support to the TEXWEAROTS Project

The project received 1.5 million Euros support from the European Research Council.
Horizon Europe European Research Council (ERC), which supports investigator-driven research with the philosophy that the researchers will determine their own direction to produce promising projects, announced that it will give 1.5 million Euros support for our Textile Technologies and Design Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgür Atalay’s project titled Textile-Based Wearable Soft Robotics with Integrated Sensing, Actuating and Self Powering Properties - TEXWEAROTS.

ITU Department of Computer Engineering

Computer engineering education in Istanbul Technical University started in 1980 as a program under the Department of Control and Computer Engineering Department. In order to keep up with the contemporary developments, Computer Engineering was reshaped as a separate department under the same faculty. All related programs and departments were transferred to the new Faculty of Computer and Informatics Engineering in 2010.
