Prof. Dr. Mehmet Keskinöz received his BS degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Boğaziçi University in 1994, and his MS and PhD degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 1997 and 2001. From 2001 to September 2021, he was jointly affiliated with Electronics Engineering and Computer Science/Engineering Programs at  Sabancı University Istanbul, Turkey. Then, he has recently joined to ITU Computer and Informatics Faculty and become a member of ITU Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Center (ITUAI).

His research interests include   statistical data analytics and knowledge discovery; developing intelligent, secure, robust data-driven algorithms/techniques for multimedia, biometrics and communications; time-series analysis, information fusion and  distributed estimation /detection for data driven systems; developing secure multimedia and biometric systems using machine learning and deep learning techniques
