Exemption from Internship Obligation

The decision taken by the University Senate regarding the internship obligations of the students.

According to the University Senate decision taken on 17 June 2021 at the meeting no 774 ;

it has been decided that students who will complete their courses at the end of the summer semester in the 2020-2021 academic year but could not complete their compulsory internship due to the epidemic conditions, will be exempted from the internship obligation if they have completed at least half (%50) of their internship obligation.

Computer engineering education in Istanbul Technical University started in 1980 as a program under the Department of Control and Computer Engineering Department. In order to keep up with the contemporary developments, Computer Engineering was reshaped as a separate department under the same faculty. All related programs and departments were transferred to the new Faculty of Computer and Informatics Engineering in 2010.
