TIREMO AIoT Hands-On Workshop

Dear Academic Staff and Students,

The TIREMO AIoT Hands-On Workshop, organized in collaboration with Empa Electronics, will provide a comprehensive and practical training on implementing artificial intelligence and Internet of Things (AIoT) technologies on edge devices in real time.

Within the scope of the workshop, topics such as developing AI solutions on microcontroller-based systems, reading sensor data, communication via MQTT protocol, and deploying trained models on edge devices will be covered at a technical level. Participants will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in building end-to-end AIoT systems directly on hardware.

Computer engineering education in Istanbul Technical University started in 1980 as a program under the Department of Control and Computer Engineering Department. In order to keep up with the contemporary developments, Computer Engineering was reshaped as a separate department under the same faculty. All related programs and departments were transferred to the new Faculty of Computer and Informatics Engineering in 2010.
